Even a person like me who practically does NOT make full use of the interconnectivity of the Internet knows of quite a few interesting cases,
from the boy who could hardly believe he beat swimming idol, to the poor guy who disloacted his elbow (ouch) to the poor great China man who lost yet won at the same time :)
Such things, such emotional and inspirational things, a common in stories, we listen to, we hear of them, we read of them, we read stories inspired by them.
But this was special as it actually happened during my time, during a time i was paying attention.
Somehow, it adds on to the special effect of these special powerful stories.
It goes to show, that even though we have these life lessons repeated over and over, in many numerous different forms, we still need something extra, something more personal, in order for us to further understand the deeper meaning, or maybe we did understnad the meaning but it did not sink in just yet.
Maybe it will save us from giving up, maybe it'll save us from making the less-correct decisions - who knows?
Oh and on a side note: tomorrow Singapore turns 47! :D Another awesome year has passed.
And Jiayous to the Singapore athletes of the Olympics. :D Never, never ever, give up on your dreams.
