On first basis i usually take notice of any webcomic because of its art. If overall it passes above 5 on my ranking, I will be curious enough to read its "About".
For "Hero" its art was captivating. When i first saw, i was curious and thought the art style different and unique.
Somehow, even though it is very different, the comic ends up reminding me slightly of "The Little Prince".
It is close, yet not, ot a similar kind of story.
But don't set any assumptions yet about it. However, a fair warning is, it is BEST read when you have the time to. It is not one of those fast, read-in-between-breaks types; it requires your full-attention, and it shows you very much.
It is unique in its technical style of the website too, as insteadof words on the pages, one must use the mouse hover-over, to bring out boxes with texts, so it is a bit tricky for people with lesser capapbilities at controlling the mouse, but with or without text, the story is still able to come through.
Trust me.
It is worth it.
Another note, is the song that inspired this comic. Mr Children's song 'Hero' .
