it's like the awful glee you get from making bad puns even though they are so horrible even you yourself feel like cringing... 8DLabels: awful, crazy, glee, puns
i came up with a happy tune-song-ditty:
we're all in a line, heading for slaughter, in a little cabin!~
it is very happy and catchy a tune. I name it the Happy Slaughter Song.

Guess who's been reading Stephen King's Cell?
(no, it was totally not a rhetorical question. go ahead, guess.)
Anyways, i read it a few days back.(okay i lie. many many days back. maybe even a month), and decided, i like it :D
hmm the storyline is not say bomblastically fantastic, nor awesomely mindblowing or mind-hooking, but it syncs in a way.
it does have a feel of your usual "Oh, the zombies, ah the people, oh noes, no what" feel, with one day and boom - a widespread zombie-fied nation, at the start. But, his writing does keep it from falling too boring. Then he starts with the little details, that intrigued you, or make you somewhat curious.
(HIDE YOUR KIDS, HIDE YOUR FAMILY, HIDE YOUR WIFE, HIDE YOUR - cough)
And so, story line, it is pretty interesting. I was curious why some things happen and the main thing that kept me going through - was that i was curious what will they do and what are those not-so-zombie Phone-People going to do with them? (SPOILER> i mean, why keep them alive?)
I liked particularly the part when the Main realises, oh no, they made a mistake... it was as if i could feel his horror and that instinct that 'yeah, you guys are doomed. opps, you shouldn't have done that'. i feel that if an author can make me sync with the characters and the story, it is worth a read. :) (Oh but then again, i am reading a story by an author that's supposedly one of the better best. -shrugs-)

time to cram cram cram and cram it all in, and then seal it all up with the ever durable and reliable (?) duct tape.
hopefully none of the information leaks out my ears.
or eyes.
NOTE TO ASPIRING DUCTTAPERS: for taping eyes, i recommend using transparent scotch tape or packing tape.
